# Bankr founder says almost 25% of BNKR supply is staked

*The staked share of BNKR rose from 15.4% to nearly 25% in four days, before staking rewards began streaming.*

Bankr founder @0xDeployer [posted on X](https://x.com/0xDeployer/status/2105672897201356842) on October 1, 2026 that almost 25% of the BNKR token supply was staked.

Four days earlier, on September 27, 2026, he had posted that 15.4% of the supply was staked and that rewards had not started streaming yet. The staked share rose from 15.4% to almost 25% between those two posts, with no rewards distributed in the interval, according to his account.

On September 26, 2026, the day Bankr opened early staking for the token, he wrote that the company had already bought back seven figures of BNKR, queued to stream to stakers. Bankr's staking documentation states that rewards are paid in BNKR and streamed to stakers weekly, with each week's batch released second by second over the following seven days.

The documentation also states that a staker's share of the pool depends on total weight staked, so a larger staked share dilutes each participant's cut of a given week's rewards. Weight grows from 1x to 2x over 365 days, accruing points at 00:00 UTC daily, capped at the size of the stake.
