"body": "# Apple and Meta object to OKXICE trading tokenized versions of their shares\n\n*Sixty-seven companies have now moved to block the OKX and ICE venture from offering third-party tokens of their stock, according to a CoinDesk tally.*\n\nApple and Meta are among the companies that have objected to OKXICE trading tokenized versions of their shares, [CoinDesk reported](https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2026/11/06/apple-meta-reject-okx-ice-tokenized-stock-plans-leaving-crypto-firms-as-the-ones-to-watch) on November 6, 2026. OKXICE is the venture of OKX and ICE that plans round-the-clock trading of tokenized U.S. stocks, settled in stablecoins, under the SEC's five-year Innovation Exemption, which allows automated market makers.\n\nTotal disclosed objections have reached 67. Of the 62 companies OKXICE initially selected, 56, or about 90%, have objected, according to CoinDesk's tally. Eleven objectors were outside the original selection.\n\nMeta, Palantir, S&P Global, KLA and Super Micro Computer were added on Thursday, November 5. Apple, Home Depot, GE Vernova, Nebius, Boeing and ServiceNow objected earlier in the week.\n\nStrategy, Coinbase, Circle and Robinhood are absent from OKXICE's public notice dated November 5. Securitize and BitGo are also absent, and they previously told CoinDesk they did not plan to object.\n\nCompanies have 30 calendar days after notice to block trading of shares tokenized by an unaffiliated third party. Venues have up to five business days to publish objections, so the public list can lag issuers' decisions. The deadline for issuers in OKXICE's October 4 notice passed during the week of November 2.\n\nOKXICE co-chairman Andrew Cuomo, the former New York governor, said at a press conference in the week of October 26 that companies outside the initial selection had approached the venture about joining. He declined to name them or give a count.\n\nA competing Canton-based venue, TSV, went live in the week of November 2 trading tokenized shares of Canton Strategic Holdings using an issuer-sponsored approach that avoids the 30-day objection process.\n\nCoinDesk said the venue could launch with a narrow, crypto-concentrated selection of stocks.",
